We had our Chapter Christmas Party at Countess of Harmony's home. The door opened to the wonderful scent of mulled cider simmering on the stove and, oh my goodness, did she decorate and all in a Red Hat theme, naturally.
A beautiful Red Hat tree, tables, wall hangings, Red Hats everywhere we looked. The food table was - suffice to say, amazing. Those Red Hatters are excellent cooks and that display of incredible edibles was awesome and delicious! We couldn't stay away from it. But we were anxious to open our boxes of gifts we had worked at gathering all year. This year we used the six senses to purchase for our boxes. What fun to discover what and how each of us interpreted those senses: sight, taste, smell, sound, touch, and feel. We took turns opening and exclaiming over this very entertaining variety of gifts.
Games were played and Countess of Harmony had a gift for each of us, winner or not, and what an absolute wonderful surprise - she had made each of us a stained glass Red Hat! They were all different and each and every one was beautiful - so to say we were all thrilled just has to be an understatement. I imagine every one of these Red Hatters went home and immediately hung theirs to display its beauty just as I did.
Thank you again Countess of Harmony.
In fun and Hilarity, Queen Mum Sandy

Our gracious host.
