FOOD, FUN & FROLICKING RED HATTERS!

Our hostess for this event, Countess de’ Crochet Anna, planned a wonderful evening of food and fun. We carpooled and met at Pizza Hut where the tempting tastes of wings, bread sticks, salads and four kinds of pizza had nine of us Red Hatters groaning and wondering how we could manage dessert! However, it was unanimous we should move on to Holiday Bowl where our Countess had made reservations for our evenings entertainment and to work off those consumed calories!

When our group of ladies dressed in purple with Red Hats enter any establishment, we always seem to draw attention. We welcome those moments to share when asked; “who are you and what do you do?” We answer we are girls that just want to have fun, we dress up and let the child in us out to play! We like to eat out, have tea parties and love dessert and all kinds of entertainment! That’s what we do!

None of us had bowled for years, no competition, this was all in fun. If our efforts and expressions of determination didn’t do the trick, we certainly had a lot of laughs! We dropped balls, we threw gutter balls, we knocked down a few pins and some were even lucky enough to make strikes. YEA!! You should have heard us cheering for our sister Red Hatters that matter! We had a ball (no pun intended). Our hostess presented prizes for best score, second best and lowest. Never do we play favorites! It’s simply not the Red Hat way.

After two games of frolicking fun, we decided those calories were gone - time for dessert so off to Tim Horton’s and the sweets we could find there. We do love our desserts! Another wonderful gathering of fun, food and friendship in Red Hat sisterhood came to an end with many thanks to our hostess Countess de’ Crochet Anna!

In Fun & Hilarity!
